The restaurant industry is one of the most demanding sectors to work in. Every week of downtime can be extremely expensive for business owners, which is why meeting the project deadline is often the top priority.
Some millwork installation projects move smoothly without major pressure or urgency. Others, however, come with serious challenges, requiring us to increase the number of millwork installers by two or three times and work extended shifts of 14 to 20 hours when necessary.
This usually happens for a few main reasons:
- Other trades on the project fall behind schedule by weeks or even months, which delays the start and completion of the millwork installation.
- The millwork shop is not able to keep up with material deliveries.
- Design changes happen during the project, which often results in a delayed start of millwork production.
